At 1pm on Saturday 24th September 2005 at the Bowral Tulip Time Parade, the "Bowral Birthplace of Mary Poppins" float will be launched. The aim is use it at various parades and community events, both in the Southern Highlands and elsewhere, to increase the awareness of the special connection Bowral has with the Mary Poppins story and its author.
The parade float has been made possible with the support, financial and otherwise, of the following sponsors.
